I’m a cognitive neuroscientist doing my postdoctoral fellowship training at Evanston Hospital in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology studying pelvic pain under Kevin Hellman, PhD, and Frank Tu, MD MPH. I utilize EEG to better understand mechanisms of pain underlying dysmenorrhea. My prior graduate work under Daniel C. Krawczyk, PhD, at The University of Texas at Dallas investigated volitional control of semantic processing, executive dysfunction in chronic-phase traumatic brain injury, and human reasoning. I enjoy visualizing and analyzing data, learning programming, blogging, and watching the Chicago Blackhawks. Click here for my CV.
Academic R E-Prime EEG Paper Review Shiny App
As a cognitive neuroscientist, my projects are a blend of cognitive psychology, computer science, statistics, neuroimaging, and neuroscience principles. This blog serves mainly as resource to myself (so I can refer to how I did something), but also aims to teach others.
Hockey Analytics R
I love the sport of hockey. In my spare time, I like to apply some of the statistical techniques that I’ve learned in my classes and research projects to hockey data. This hockey analytics blog serves to help hone my data science skills, teach R, and (hopefully) provide new insights to this amazing sport.
